Acupuncture is a system of healing used to treat people with a wide range of illnesses, which has been practised in China and other Eastern countries for thousands of years.
It involves the insertion of very fine needles into energy channels in order to stimulate the body’s own healing process and help restore its natural balance. Acupuncturists use special points on the body to help Chi flow more smoothly, relieving pain and enhancing the immune system.
Our acupuncturist uses a sophisticated system of diagnostic methods that take into consideration the person as a whole, rather than isolated symptoms. The aim is not only to eliminate or alleviate symptoms, but more importantly to treat the underlying cause and improve the quality of life.
Is acupuncture painful?
